Parti \u00e0 16 ans de France pour un \u00e9change scolaire \u00e0 Houston, il n\u2019est plus jamais rentr\u00e9. Il est devenu le seul cowboy fran\u00e7ais (et m\u00eame europ\u00e9en) \u00e0 concourir en rod\u00e9o aux Etats-Unis. \u00ab Quand j\u2019avais quatorze ans, je voulais \u00eatre joueur de foot. J&#8217;ai toujours \u00e9t\u00e9 un casse-cou. Je faisais tourner le sang de ma m\u00e8re car je revenais avec une nouvelle balafre tous les week-ends \u00bb rigole-t-il. Yvan grandit entour\u00e9 de chevaux et travaille avec son p\u00e8re dans la voltige \u00e9questre. En Italie, il voit son premier rod\u00e9o et commence \u00e0 r\u00eaver des cactus et du d\u00e9sert.
