Aujourd\u2019hui, les Aborig\u00e8nes constituent\u00a027 % des d\u00e9tenus. Leur esp\u00e9rance de vie est inf\u00e9rieure de dix ans \u00e0 celle des autres\u00a0Australiens. Quant au taux de mortalit\u00e9 des enfants aborig\u00e8nes, il est deux fois plus\u00a0\u00e9lev\u00e9 que dans le reste de la population.
